Where is the batch code on a perfume bottle?

Not a fan of this line(agree to disagree) but to answer your question: Creed testers come with a plain brown box and they have their batch code stuck on the box itself but it's like a "sticky" and comes off very easily. My guess? I've never seen a Mugler tester box before but the batch code was probably on the tester box and the person or company that sold it to you took it off, or it fell off. Not sure with Mugler but I am positive with Creed as I once bought a tester bottle at retail price, like an idiot, as I was looking for a certain batch variation from a high end department store. Bottom Line: The batch code was probably stuck on the tester box and it came off or was taken off. Mere conjecture but with Creed I am positive. Addendum: OP found a definitive answer. Delete.

Yup, not sure why you're asking. Like many of us here, I have bottles that go back over twenty years. If there was an "expiration date" listed for them somewhere, I'm sure they are all passed it. I've never had a bottle go bad.

Over long periods of time, some scents may weaken, or lose some of their top notes. But they do not tend to spoil and become unusable like milk or yogurt once they past their expiration date (if there is one).

Perfumer Le Labo custom mixes the frag you purchase and makes a personalized printed label with your name and date of purchase. For awhile, they would print the expiration date on this custom label and it was always one year from your purchase date. Fragheads called that out as flagrant BS designed to induce more sales. They have stopped that practice.

Again, these are chemicals- not biologics.
