- Seniors: For a reduced fare during non-rush hours, carry an ID with a "T" endorsement. To receive this endorsement, seniors age 65+ should complete a driver's license renewal form at any Driver & Vehicle Services office and request the "T" endorsement. OR request a Reduced Fare Go-To Card by mail and include a copy of your state-issued ID that shows your birth date.
- Youth ages 6-12: For a reduced fare during non-rush hours, inform the driver of your eligible age OR consider purchasing Go-To lite Cards for Students (K-12) or request a Reduced Fare Go-To Card by mail and be sure to include your 13th birth date.
- Medicare card holders: For a reduced fare during non-rush hours, carry your Medicare card along with a state-issued ID. OR request a Reduced Fare Go-To Card by mail and include a copy of your state-issued ID and Medicare card.
- Persons with Disabilities: For a mobility fare, carry a state-issued ID with an "A" or "L" endorsement, a Limited Mobility ID card or a Metro Mobility photo ID. To obtain the "A" or "L" endorsement submit the completed Limited Mobility application or contact Customer Relations for details.
- Transit Assistance Program (TAP): Ride for $1 at all times (extra fees apply for some Northstar trips). Available to eligible low-income customers.
- Disabled Veterans: Ride free at all times by showing a Veteran's Identification Card issued by the Dept. of Veterans Affairs with the words "Service Connected" or "SC" below the photo. Call 612-467-1991 or visit the VA website for details.
- Civil Servants: When in uniform, these civil servants ride free: police officers, sheriff's deputies, fire fighters, parking enforcement agents, traffic control agents and reserve police officers. Also applies to plainclothes police officers.

The METRO Blue Line is a light rail line running from Target Field in downtown Minneapolis to the Mall of America in Bloomington via Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
The METRO Blue Line is the quickest way to get to MSP without stepping foot in a car - and significantly cheaper than a taxi, Lyft, Uber, with fares for the line set at $2 off-peak and $2.50 at rush-hour, good for travel for two hours from purchase.
While the METRO Blue Line does not make any stops in Anoka County, travelers from the County can take advantage of it by transferring from any of the following routes:
If transferring via Northstar, head up the escalator or elevator from the Target Field Station lower platforms to the Target Field Station light rail platforms. Wait for a Blue Line train to Mall of America.
